German Atlantis. Berlin. 1996

This underwater Installation in Olympia swimming pool in Berlin was dedicated to the unification of Germany. The Cherkashins had created some art works with old German architecture and contemporary young people. All these pictures were submerged under the water. The visitors of the show were invited to dive, to see the show. 

This exhibition was supported by the German Embassy in Moscow and  sponsored by "Deutsche Welle" international TV. The report about this event was shown at the international TV program "Arts Unlimited" in 1996.
